Gisele Barlow

Gisele has specialized training to deliver prenatal care and well baby/immunizations. She leads the the smoking cessation program and coordinates teledermatology appointments for patients with skin conditions. She performs adult immunizations, allergy injections, wart treatment and suture/staple removal , ear flushing and administers flu shots. Gisele has extra training to perform memory testing, and coordinates care with the North East Specialized Geriatric Centre.

Tegan

Tegan is in charge of the Seniors Wellness and Active Chapleau programs at the CDFHT. She assists the physicians with preventative care like coordinating pap tests, colorectal cancer screening, breast cancer screening and bone mineral density screening. She specializes in foot care and performs adult immunizations, allergy injections, and suture/staple removal, and administers flu shots.

Nurse Practitioners are able to diagnose illnesses and injuries, along with providing treatment for common infections and chronic conditions. They are able to prescribe medications, order and interpret certain diagnostic tests, order procedures and perform physical and routine check-ups.
